1st half- quite possibly the best team defense I've seen played at UT in 8 years.
I am hedging my bets though, I can't tell if UT looks that good or if Cal is just that overrated.
Figured this deserved a thread of it's own.
14-0 UT at the half.
Offense - B+
Defense - A+
Offense is looking worlds better than last season. Foster is looking really good and the line looks a lot better than last season. Receivers are looking decent, although that tipped ball was [censored].
Defense is typical Chavis D. Front 4 is playing really well and the LB's are more than holding their own. Secondary is simply playing out of their mind.

Looks like Cal is this years UT. Alot of hype and a high pre-season ranking. Looks like Cal didnt make that many good adjustments at the half.
Nope. That's going to be Florida. Book it. Already looking not so great. 14-7 with Southern Miss going into the half. They don't have a run game, their o line is bad. Fox Sports mentioned this morning that Lloyd Carr was a lame duck at Michigan and guess who is supposed to be interested in taking that job. A guy who had OSU, Michigian, and ND listed as three schools he could leave Utah for.

Jesus man, that dude got burnt like he was on the scout team. UT is kickin their arses and Im glad simply because the pac-10 will get no respect. On the flip side of things, I think things willbe alot more interesting against florida. I'll probably cheer for the vols in that one too. Whats wrong with me.
